Cookies

Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. This page explains which ones we use and why.

Essential cookies — always on

These are needed for the site to work. They keep your dates and apartment selection while you book, keep your session secure, and let Stripe process your card payment and check it for fraud. The site cannot function without them, so they do not require your consent. They do not track you across other websites.

Advertising and measurement — only with your consent

With your permission we use Google Ads to measure which of our adverts lead to bookings. This tells us what to spend on and what to stop. The cookies are set by Google — the main one, _gcl_au, typically lasts up to 90 days. No cookie is set and nothing is stored on your device unless you press Accept.

Before you choose, and if you decline

Google's measurement tag loads on every page, but we instruct it to store nothing on your device unless you accept. Until you accept, it may send Google a basic, cookieless signal — the address of the page, the time, and your IP address — which Google uses to measure advertising performance in aggregate. Nothing is saved to your device and you are not identified. Declining does not affect your booking, the price, or availability — we simply lose the ability to tell which advert brought you here.

Changing your mind

You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page. Choosing again replaces your previous answer immediately. You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser settings.

Who is responsible for your data

Chilworth Court is operated by Platinum Accommodation Limited, registered in England and Wales no. 09440865. Registered office: 6 Dorset Street, London, W1U 6QL. We are the data controller for everything described on this page.

Who we share it with

The advertising and measurement data described above is shared with Google, which processes it as our measurement provider and may do so on servers outside the United Kingdom. Payment details are handled directly by Stripe and never reach us. We do not sell your personal data to anyone, and we do not use it to build a profile of you beyond measuring how our own advertising performs.

Your rights, and how to complain

You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Write to mail@chilworthcourt.com and we will respond. If you are not satisfied with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.
